Inspired by saisons in the Wallonian region along the border of Belgium and France. Madame is a dry Saison brewed with barley and wheat from Skagit Valley, setting a stage for our house yeast culture to thrive and produce notes of Meyer lemon, apricots followed by a soft bitterness from German hops.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma reveals a really nice rustic saison yeast character, soft flaky wheat, and a gentle barnyard character. Flavour has a great rustic saison yeast, some spicy, peppery notes, and a nice farmhouse funk. Spicy, rustic and fairly dry with plenty of complexity and depth. Excellent.

32 oz crowler poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. After being blown away with the first impression I got from these guys, I had to grab this one. Golden pour, a bit cloudy. Abeled as a standard saison, but i feel such thing does not exist. Also, this is no standard brew. Soft tart, some herbal and floral charaxter sits underneath a refreshing citrus tone. A good dose of lemon, just barely sour. Would never co sides thi a sour by any means though. A moderately dry finish, but a flavorful linger. Really interesting brew here. Really enjoyed this saison.
