On tap at the Garden City brewery/taproom. Clear mahogany pour with a fine light tan head some nutty light toasted malt aromas and flavors. A little woody bite in the malt character. Nice bite.

On tap at the brewery pours out cola brown topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts some light grain. Taste is more of the nice rich roast malts some grain and ash.

Taster at brewery. Dark brown pour, silky beige head, rings of lacing. Roasty aroma, burnt toast, light smoke. Taste is bitter, roasty, sweet with a nice mouth feel.
