Bottle from Tavour. Dark amber pour, very fine ring of disappearing bubbles. Boozy aroma, lots of Belgian notes, plums. Taste brings elements of a dubbel and a Flanders red, fruity, sweet, plums, and a big, warm, boozy punch.

Bottle pick up today from the brewery - clear amber - presents more like a strong quad than anything else - nose of dark fruit, baked apples, sherry, bananas foster, mild apple cider vinegar, lightly peppery phenols - very sweet, bordering on sticky - flavor is as the aroma suggests, just with stronger phenolic character - light acidity and high alcohol warmth on the tail end - ain’t not saison, but it is an interesting, albeit rough, beer.

Capped 375 from Tavour. Pours clear copper/amber with a very transient white head. Aroma is somewhat like sherry. More than med body. Not dry but avoids sticky. Not bitter, but the firm heat helps hold back the malt. Flavor is much like sherry. Tasty ale.
