This recipe was the first "Cheater Hops" we canned five years ago. We liked it so much that we wanted to back! It starts with a base of rye, oats and barley. It is then double dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin for white whine, and gooseberry characteristics, Azacca for tropical notes of mango and pineapple, and Simcoe for a touch of pine to round out the fruit flavors. There is also a vanilla sweetness from our house ale yeast!

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy orange golden pour, abundant white fluffy head. Soft, citrusy aroma, floral notes. Taste is orange, tangerine, light pink grapefruit, mild soapy essence. Light bitterness that lingers. Juicy, smooth and highly enjoyable.

Wonderful stuff, and hits my soft spot for Nelson hops. Pine and orange with some caramel. Mango, passion fruit. Pours murky orange with a huge pillow of head and Victorian lacing like Charlotte Bronte's bra. Green onion. Clean end. Tap at brewery.
