Very slightly hazy russet brown with a frothy/creamy off-white head. Sweet bready malt with a touch of berry fruit on the nose. A touch fizzy gives a sherbet-like texture, there’s hints of pine and hop bitterness on top of a sweet malt backbone, finishes dry and slightly bitter

Tap at Tilt, Birmingham. Pours a dark red with small off white top. This one had notes of tart red berries, rye bread, citrus, sweet spice. Quite crisp in the finish. Good.

Key at Borough Beer House, Farnham. Aroma is vaguely sour, grainy. Clear dark brown. Thin translucent white head. Light-medium bitter. Resinous and sour. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.
