Can from Lupe Pintos. Black body with a beige head that holds well. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of Twiglets, cranberry, peach and dark chocolate. Flavour of blueberry, dark chocolate and charred wood. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Tangy and full flavoured for the ABV.

Tap at Tilt, Birmingham. Pours black with beige head and decent retention. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, hint of roast, pineapple and berries. Taste of chocolate, light coffee, pineapple, hint of coconut. Semi-dry, good medium body for the strength, fine to frothy carbonation. Enjoyable.

Foamy tan head on a still dark brown coloured body. Sour & malt aroma. Medium bodied, foamy dry & clean. Lemon, sour, malt, liquorice & Vimto tastes with a tangy finish. Sour Stout?? - Weird but goes together well.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - mat black with a massive fawn head. Nose - oh, interesting combo of roast and tropical fruit. Dark chocolate and leather too. Taste - dark chocolate mainly, some lurking pineapple and definitely some sweet wood spice. Palate - medium bodied, with a dry, roasty finish. Overall - good!
