Keg at the brewery tap. Aroma has black coffee, citrus, herbs. Glossy and stygian. Foamy beige head thins our quickly. Medium-heavy bitter. Resin and coffee. Then develops a sweet chocolate and porridge. Molasses. Medium bodied. Slick. Slightly sticky. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Characterful stuff.

Tap at kernel tap room bermondsey. A dark reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with a fine light tan head. Aroma is resinous pine. Varnish, sandlewood, some alcohol, sticky pine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet. Nutty toasted roasted malts, sticky pine, resin, tar, liquorice. Really solid, lovely hoppy dry stout.
