Acceptable but unexceptional Pale Ale.

Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of floral hops and light citrus. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish.

Clean copper colour and tiny white head. Caramalt, mentholy hops. Light-bodied. Caramalt but dry mouthfeel, earthy hops. Easy.

Can from Secretts, Milford. Aroma has light woody bitterness, caramel and citrus. Malty. Copper gold. Foamy blotchy off-white head. Medium-heavy bitterness - resin and quinine. Citrus edge. Develops a hig sweet caramel streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Billed as an American IPA and I guess they were aiming for somethings West Coast but ultimately like a lot of old-school UK breweries it's still trad verging on Golden Ale. Quite hoppy. Quite chewy. Fine.
