The first pillar in the series is 2022 Benthic Barrel Aged Stout with Toasted Coconut and Coffee. This was the beer that walked us out here - electrifying a supremely decadent synapsis between black velvet, baritone, stout and our slithery little eel minds. Hand-toasted coconut, whole bean coffee and litany of lumber from bourbon's finest. Fire breathing barrel, silky moonshiner fruit, island tropicocono, morning coffee, luxury sludge smothered under a mountainous grain bill of night-black brewer's malt.

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Big roasted coffee, cacao nib, vanilla bean and caramel aromas. Bourbon comes out as it warms with lots of creamy oak notes. Smooth and rich on the palate. Decadent stuff with the bourbon and chocolate working well. Lingering toasted coconut and cacao nib on the finish, slightly warming with good barrel character throughout.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, chocolate, coffee and vanilla finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, chocolate - coffee, dark malt, alcohol - bourbon, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, cake, dark malt, roasted, wood, alcohol - bourbon - vanilla, chocolate - coffee. Tap @ Cloudwater Friends and Family Fest, 2019. Pours Black with mocha creamy head. Massive coconut, nutella, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor adds an intense bourbon barrel that really blends in Well. Smooth, soft and Big body. Amazing bourbon barrel.
