Sauvin is a blend of a rustic saison and longer aged wild ales (3 up to 5 years) dryhopped with Nelson Sauvin hops for over a year in one of our Bourgogne foeders.
In the nose you will come across white wine grapes and melon notes from the Nelson Sauvin hops. Accompanied by dusty, oaky and a citrus aroma’s from the base beer. In taste you will experience a slightly bitterness and herbal notes like thyme from the hops, a balanced sourness with a fairly dry woody finish.

MBCC. Hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, funky, wood and light hoppy - earthy. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. 240525

Amber body, with a big, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of sweet white grapes, ripe melon, some funk, some wood, some straw. Taste with more prominent citric hop notes. A bit creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carboantion. Finishes medium bitter, medium dry, wooden, hoppy, a bit vinous, with some lingering cheesy funk. Really complex, with wild, hoppy, fruity and wooden notes. Works very well, drinks fresh and crisp. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16
