Double IPA by Omnipollo brewed at Dugges; bottle at Bar Beenhouwer, Ghent. Eggshell-white, mousy, thin and 'interrupted' ring of a head on a hazy straw blonde beer with apricot tinge. Aroma of ripe mango, yellow kiwi, passionfruit liqueur (Passoa), ripe peach, cherimoya, sweetbread dough, minerals. Fruity, sweet onset, ripe pineapple, mango purΓ©e, peach, softish carb, oily and bit creamy mouthfeel; doughy, gently powdery effect, only very softly bitter but hugely aromatic, drenched in aspects of mango, lychee, kiwi and sweet blood orange, while the alcohol remains well hidden. Juicy, rich, fruity double IPA in the New England idiom more and more craft brewers are mastering now, very enjoyable.
