Can pour from Valley Beverage. It's an opaque black with finger-width light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted earthy malts, toffee, mild vanilla. A hint of wet dog. Taste is roasted earthy malt, toffee. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. A decent, non-adjuncted stout.

Can from Spoke Bicycle Cafe: pours black with beige head. Aroma is molasses and hints of anise and roast. Sweet, mellow bitterness. Nice aftertaste. Pleasant.
