(Tap) clear, bright, dark orange amber colour with a small brown head; aroma of chai; intense, balanced chai flavour with a long, medium bitter finish. If you like chai this is amazing.

Draught at Pasadena: pours black with a white head. Aroma is various baking spices, chocolate, roasted malts. Taste is spicy, somewhat sweet, slight roast. Spice really takes the wheel here.

On tap at Stone Liberty Station. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chai spices, cinnamon, coconut, light roasted malt. Similar taste. The body was medium and the mouthfeel kind of creamy.

Poured up on tap at Liberty Station where it exhibits dark colored body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up all kinds spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and others mixing with chocolate and a bit of a graham cracker like sensation. The taste delivers plenty of the same spicy notes as noted in the nose. It quickly picks up pleasing chocolate with a faint chili pepper sensation off in the background. Another solid offering but the spiciness seems a little too forward.

Cool beer. On draft at the Holiday Ale Festival. Pours a black color with a medium beige head. A big spicy and milky lactose nose. The flavor is well made: bitter hops mix with aggressive spicing, some toast, sweet vanilla and cocoa. Very nice brew. A bit complex, but the core chai and lactose flavor is solid.
