Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours golden amber with a large foamy white head. Aroma of amber malt and notes of grass/spice. Med body. Malty but not all that far from dry. Hop bitterness is very nice, and seems primarily Noble. Good okto.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated September 08, 2020. Aroma is rather malt forward with nice notes of grain, bread, caramel and toasted dough. Light notes of woody, herbal hop character. Pours a slightly hazy, copper color with good hues on the edges and a moderately large, thick, frothy, slightly tan head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Flavor is somewhat sweet and very malt forward. Loads of bread and grain with lighter notes of toasted bread and caramel. Medium low bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Light woody, herbal hop notes with a hint of grass. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer that is very malt forward with a light hop character. The malt profile is a bit deeper and darker than a typical festbier, but it's still tasty.
