Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated to leave some light lace.
Aroma: big vanilla sweet tones, roasty coffee character, toasted nuts, marshmallow, milk chocolate, milk sugar
Flavor: wraps up the prior noted aromas to a very nicely done sweet and roasty level; finishes roasty and sweet through the coffee and nuts to the vanilla and marshmallow vibes
Texture: medium bodied, fair smoothness along the tongue; leaning towards the sipper side
Overall: a very nicely done imperial pastry stout I would very much welcome again.

Draft. Black beer with a tan head. Chocolate aroma. Chocolate and vanilla flavor with maple and light caramel. Medium bodied. Vanilla and chocolate linger with light maple.

Tap at University of Beer in Vacaville, CA. Pours dark brn/blk with a small tan head. Aroma of vanilla and dark malt. Near full bodied. More dry than not. Flavor is dark malt, vanilla and lactose. Nice.
