Süffiger, weich getreidiger Beginn. Mild würzig, etwas bitter, getreidig, weich. Süßlich, rund, spritzig, langer Nachhall, klassisch. Gelungen. 10/11/12/11/9/11

New beer and new brewery to me. I have a 16 oz can that came from Half Time in New York late last year. For this tasting I have a tulip glass from Buffalo Bayou ready to receive. I see a highly charged, light gold-yellow body completed by a thin but steady cover of purely white foam. The nose is proper in the style, grain, citrus and a small touch of yellow fruit. I lift the glass and take a drink. Lemon and lime, grain, dry crackers, a slight hoppiness and perhaps some apricot. It is hard to stand out when brewing a kolsch.

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent gold with a large, creamy white head. Aroma is bready/fruity - not getting citrus. Near med body. Flavor is bready with fruit that does suggest apple. Dry. Mildly bitter. Crisp and clean.
