Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours translucent light gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus/coriander. Med minus body. Flavor is citrus/coriander with some mild spice of some sort - might be a pepper thing. It’s fairly clean, fairly flavorful. I think it’s a bit underrated. A far cry from those terrible eastern lagers with fusil oils. Finishes dry and herb/floral/spice. Light on the spice.

Bottle. Clear orange with a white head. Mild wheaty and grainy aroma with lemon, coriander, some pepper. Not all that sweet and very light bodied. Refreshing although the spices verge on the metallic. Dries out enough at the end. Entirely competent but dull even for a wit.

Sampled as Karlovačko Primavera. Pours hazy yellow color with medium creamy white head. Smell of wheat and herbs. Thin body with medium carbonation. Sweet taste, watery texture. Aroma of wheat, herbs and spices. Aroma itself is very weak and felt mostly in the aftertaste. Overall, generic and bland. Feels very artificial and quite boring.

Apr. ’15. A 0.5l bottle from some of my local bars, as Karlovačko Primavera obviously, a Croatian Heineken group spring seasonal. It poured hazy darker yellow body with medium sized head. Lightly herbal and coriander-like hoppy and very lightly chalk wheat aroma. Weak flavor, too, if I have to pick sides it was very lightly sweet. Mostly plain wheat notes in the taste, with a light sourness towards the finish which could be characterized as a "coriander". Thin bodied with shorter, almost bland chalky finish. Smooth, but watery on palate. Although not utterly bad it was utterly boring. Well, one can’t expect anything more...

Bottle, 0.50l, shared with colleagues, courtesy of Marcin. Pours cloudy deep golden with thin creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of wheat, lemon zest and coriander. Taste starts mild sweet grainy, follows refreshing citric and yeasty with mild spicy mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Refreshing positive surprise...

Bottle 500ml (as Karlovacko Primavera, AIH53)
Hazy orange-yellow color, small white head. Strong skunky cardboard aroma and some overriped fruity notes. Light-bodied, fizzy. Cardboard, overriped banana, very little spices. Industrial hefeweizen. Meh.
