Slightly opalescent golden colour, large, dense ecru-ish white head; aroma of piney, lemony, tropical fruity (guava and some watery pineapple) and some orange peel notes; taste of hoppy bitterness with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma but less intensity; correct one

Drinks like an old school west coaster. Very malt forward with orange and slight dank in the back. Flavor is also malty and a slight tongue scraper.

0.473l can from Beer Republic. Aroma of peach, mango, pineapple, resin and flowers. Pours clear golden color with large soapy off-white head, fair lacing and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts moderate sweet malty and resinous, following is ripe tropical fruity, bready, herbal and medicinal, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. That one is for the big headache weekend…

Can from Great Grog. Deep golden body with a few flecks beneath a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of orange and grapefruit. Flavour of lemon and orange. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A solid west coast DIPA.

Burk Chapter växjö . Här en relativt klar klassiskt färgad Dipa. Doftar USA 🇺🇸 lång väg. Alltså ladugårdsplan och lite sommaräng. I munnen tyvär lite återhållsam men god. Tallbarr , Jordkällare och lite apelsinskal . God rackare

A big weekend deserves a big can. I got a 19.2 oz can from the Total Wine in Palm Springs during the tennis tournament last month. Label says 8.8% abv in large print, just to pass along. A snifter is in place to catch the pour and that I do. The appearance is a cloudy amber-orange with an inspiring top of arctic white foam that is showing a lacing possibility. I get an IPA hybrid scent, tropical fruit, some pininess and a bit of grain. The drink leans towards West Coast fortunately, there is grass, cedar, apricots, some mango, malt and a firm bitterness that ties it all together. A decent DIPA or even better. And yes, the lace is nice.

On tap at Angel's Trumpet, pours a hazy peachy golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals earthy, somewhat sweaty hops, and some resins. Flavour is plenty hoppy, with lots of resins, citrus peel, and bready malt. A bit sweaty/earthy, indicating perhaps some age, but the beer is structured well. Very good.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours gold with a large off-white head. Aroma is hard to pin down. Grapefruit/pine and more I think. Arguably full bodied. Pine/grapefruit/resin with slightly roasty pale malt support. This really is a big beer in terms of body and flavor.
