Can from Corti Bros. Pours translucent gold with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma is quite fruity, but doesn't seem tropical. Med body. Carbonation isn't strong. It's fruity, but well towards dry, and has a very nice level of bitterness. Fruit seems pale stone and citrus with some pine popping in. Good flavor.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a dark orange color with a medium foamy ivory white head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sticky small patches of lacing. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
