Belgian-Style Ale
Pilsner malt, flaked wheat and oats form the base of this beer. Hopping with Brewers Gold, Savinjski Goldings, and Chinook compliment the Grains of Paradise added late in the boil. A cool fermentation lets all of the ingredients shine – the result: a soft, fruity, fluffy and delicious rendition of a Saison.

Tight white foamy head stayed on an unclear pale gold body. Yeast & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, airy over the tongue with a cloying back. Herbal, hoppy, pith, grapefruit, spices & bitter citrus tastes with a long tangy finish. It's a good one.

Appearance is golden, with a small white head. Aroma is wheaty malt, banana hints, spices, hint of citrus fruit. Taste is malt-forward, lemon traces, wheaty cereal malt, malty bitter finish.

500ml can from Craft and Berry, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield - Cloudy yellow body, frothy white head. Nice yeasty nose and taste. Sweet and fresh. Decent starter good mouthfeel.

Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, grain, cereal, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, cereal, grain, wheat, sweet yeast, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190125]

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey, golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and yeasty spicy aroma, notes of apple, gooseberry, pear, some white pepper. Taste is dry, fruity, slightly yeasty spicy and husky malty, fruity notes of apple, gosseberry, some white pepper, sweet-ish, biscuity, husky malty basis; bitter and spicy finish. Slightly crumbly palate.

0,33 flaske fra helsekostutsalget i Verksgata, delt med skibsrederen på Fridtjoffen, i en pause og strålende sommersol juli-18: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Deilig saisonaroma og -smak med hvit pepper, koriander, ingefær og gjær i en velsmakende maltkropp. Fin munnfylde og tørr, elegant bitterhet med fint urtepreg og litt honningsødme i avslutningen. Kan trygt gjentas.
