Can. Extremely brown almost black with a three finger head. Aroma is chocolate, nutty and boozy. Taste is toffee, chocolate and nutty.

12 ounce can from Niemuth's, 4/1/24. Dark red, large tan head, average retention. Aroma of toffee, spice, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is chocolate, plum, raisin, vanilla, toffee. Some vegetal and a bit thin. Okay.

Pours near black. It smells of chocolate and toffee. The flavor is sweet with chocolate, toffee, roast malt, and a hint of nuts. This is dessert- like and it’s well done.

Last can from the advent box, what a slog it was to get through that. Dark brown in color decent clarity with a thin off white head that slowly recedes. Chocolate bready and toffee. A little weird.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma of pecans and dark toasted malt. Arguably full bodied. Flavor is very much pecan. The malts there too, and a touch of chocolate, but pecans is the thing.
