Dang delicious brown ale pumped up by an old ale. Color was a bit concerning until I saw the brown ale part on the can. Straight barrel as skookum does. Vanilla caramel toffee barrel love.

16oz (thx, for saving it Phill!) shared with Phill and Farees @ Ryan's. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: American oak, some dark fruits, toffy, sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, moderately sweet, nice little booze. Overall: good one.

Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with small beige head. Woody bourbon barrel, dark dried fruit, feint chocolate malt, good complexity, very nice.

16 oz can poured. Dark brown, near black appearance. Really nice strong ale here with layered barrel presence. Smooth taste for its strength. Cream body, dark fruit nose. Flavor has caramel, maple, oat, and a smooth whiskey constant. Almost too smooth. Gentle warming character late. Excellent super barrel aged brown ale here

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a slight, creamy tan head. Aroma of treacle, chocolate, bourbon and leather. Full bodied/creamy. Flavor is chocolate, treacle, lots of bourbon, darkish fruits, leather and light wood notes. Not dry/avoids sticky. Moderately bitter. Hops? Probably. Very, very good flavor.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out kids of bourbon upfront, followed by treacle toffee, dark dried fruits, and molasses. Flavour is deep and complex, with loads of bourbon, vanilla, molasses, treacle toffee, and dark dried fruits. The bourbon character is luscious and decadent, atop a beautifully complex fruity, chocolatey malt base. Elegant and wonderfully constructed.

16 ounce can. Pours a dark brown hue with a small white head. A big boozy nose, caramel, toast, cocoa, vinous. Rich. Big dark malts, cocoa, caramel, huge fruit, leather. Damn, this is good. Heat, power. Lovely. Immense.
