Huge attractions line America’s highways. The world’s largest thermometer stands 134 feet above Baker, California. The world’s biggest ball of twine tips the scale at over 13 tons in Cawker City, Kansas. There’s even the world’s largest collection of world’s largest objects in Casey, Illinois.

With this spirit in mind, Indiana’s Big Red Liquors asked the Belgian brew masters at Taxman to develop the ‘biggest’ Belgian beer in Indiana. And boy did they deliver with their mammoth Tripel Ale, Fippel.

To create this boozy brew, Taxman added hundreds of pounds of Candi sugar to their Exemption Belgian Tripel, turning up the volume of its Ale base until it reached a staggering 16% ABV!

But the real trick is this brew’s incredible drinkability! The sweet, malty Tripel goodness remains balanced thanks to a dry side addition of Saaz and Amarillo Hops. Belgian esters of citrus peel and coriander cut through every spicy sip while your body warms to the high gravity!

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent pale amber with a transient white head. Aroma of yeast/malt. Approaching full bodied. Flavor is yeast/malt/coriander/pale stone fruit. Not dry. Not sticky (or not very). A little heat. Not bitter, but something stands in for that. Heavy duty. Nice flavor.
