Location: Draft at the Brewery, 11/17/12

Aroma: The nose has sweet malts, ginger, some spices, cinnamon, and some cookie
Appearance: This one pours a dark brown color with a small head atop it
Flavor: The taste has a nice combination of sweet/cookie, spice, malts, and A little bit of booze
Palate: This one is rather drinkable considering the ABV, has a fairly full body, and creamy feel
Overall Impression:  This one is one heck of a desert-style stout. I thought it really worked. I mean, I can’t imagine wanting to drink it everyday, but for an occasional one-off it is really good. The name says it all here, it is a gingerbread cookie stout, and they nailed it.

Molasses, pie crust, and ginger aroma, light cinnamon notes underneath. Cola brown headless. Burned pie crust dominated flavor, Ginger at midpalate. Significant amounts of char. Alcohol not noticeable. Wanting in sweetness and less char.

Growler shared at the 6th annual Richmond Industry Gathering, 11/27/11. Pours a dark brown color. Aroma of ginger, bready notes and other spices. The taste is sweet bready notes, spices and a hoppy finish. Tastes very much like gingerbread. Very tasty.
