On tap at Figueroa Mountain - Buellton, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is full of vanilla upfront, with those bourbon barrels showcasing nicely, followed by caramel and toffee. Flavour is sweet and syrupy, with vanilla, bourbon, and caramel. Not really all that complex—there's a lot of vanilla and bourbon, but not much depth or elegance. Pleasant.

Bomber from Craftshack. Pours very dark brown with a smallish tan head. Aroma of dark malt and dark fruit. Seems full bodied. Flavor has some chocolate aspects, but burnt caramel and cherry seem more strong. Heat is hardly noticeable. Wood/oak and vanilla are present. Not dry, but far from sticky. Wood and burnt malt seem more present than hop. Extremely tasty.
