Strong malt base and a nice citrus hit. It's a good reliable British pale ale.

Bottle. Clear dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruits, grass, malts and resin. Taste of malts, grapefruits, grass, resin and a little bit of biscuits. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok but not as balanced and satisfying as the cask version.

0.5 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before August 2024. Clear, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, moderately resiny, slightly grassy aroma of marmalade, pine, grapefruit and light tea. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral, slightly resiny and a bit resiny taste of grapefruit, pine, marmalade and some tea, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant Pale Ale, nicely fruity and crisp.

Tap (not cask) @ Patricks. Clear, deep golden body under a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has malt, bread, light citric hops and hint of toffee (perhaps a tad of butterscotch?). Taste is soft, sweet malt, some toffee (butterscotch) mild citric fruit and moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Nothing exiting, but an easy going smooth pale ale with a decent taste considering the relatively low ABV.
