Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Clear deep golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of earth, brown bread and chalk. Flavour of toast, grassy hops and pale malt. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A tasty bitter with a mild hop character.

Bottle at my parents' whilst celebrating Finnish Joulu. Aroma is malty with a citrus edge. Clear copper gold. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Grainy. Citrus edge. Underlying caramel malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Alright but ultimately quite boring.

Cask @ Old Inn, Poldhu. Clear dark gold featuring a small but nice white head. Aroma of citrus fruits and biscuits. Taste of malts, biscuits and citrus fruits. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Balanced and easy drinking. This is basically what I want from a Bitter.
