An intensely-flavored, big, dark ale with a wide range of flavors. Roasty-burnt malt with deep dark or dried fruit flavors, and a warming, bittersweet finish. The intense flavors, meld together to create a complex, harmonious beer.

Bottle @ Odense Ratebeer Get Together - missing the hoarders, Early Winter 2019. Pours black with a small beige head. Roast, ashes, berries - marmelade, cigarette buds, touch of smoke. Smooth. Full bodied. Warming.

[ As Munkebo YGGDRASIL ].
ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread - dark bread, roasted, dark fruit, moderate chocolate nad coffee, light soy sauce. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, roasted - chocolate, burnt, malty, rich, soy sauce - dark fruit. Body is medium to full, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210430]

deep dark brown colour, half inch of creamy brown head; aroma of dark chocolate, soy sauce, coffee and some burnt plum jam; taste has the same notes with burnt sugar bittersweetness, herbal liqueur notes and some tea leaf; great one!

Bottle @ Beershoppen, Kolding. Pours black with a brown head, lacings. Aroma of bitter roasted malt, ight caramel, coffee, toasted bread, wood. Flavor is sweet and rather bitter, rich malty, caramel, coffee, bitter dark chocolate, alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 241118
