21/IX/18 - sample @ Borefts Bierfestival Day 1 BB: n/a - (2018-1342) Thanks to the international Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark red brown beer, creamy off-white to beige head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, bit sweetish impression, mango, papaya, nice stuff. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, some tropical fruits. Aftertaste: super bitter, grapefruit, little fruity, dry finish, bit malty.

I love BIPA's, and this is another very good one. Smooth, black, roasty, plenty of coffee, green hoppyness and a solid hit of bitterness. Excellent balance, very well made beer, but it doesn't reach Kernel heights (but who does..

Bottle at the RateBeer Best Festival 2016. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. The aroma holds roasted malts and orange citrus. Moderately sweet, with hard bitter cocoa, scorched earth, burnt pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Bittersweet baking cocoa hits it on the finish, with more piney notes, rindy citrus. Good one overall.
