Wow. Another awesome barrel aged beer from Cruz Blanca. Rich malt syrup backdrop, but a huger alcohol soaked currant tone. Luscious and sweet, really unique, really memorable stuff. Rooted in beer more than a lot of the monster ABV stouts are. Great depth, finesse, balance. World Class. Superb barrel tone. Excellent.
