Bottle from Morrisons. Pours a clear light copper colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of caramel, biscuits, floral and a hint of citrus. Taste is again the same notes detected in the aroma. Citrus hoppy bitter finish. Thinnish body, fair carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Quite nice.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Soft caramel and nuts aroma. Thinnish body, subtle caramel, much nuts and a slight biscuity note - some cardboard there as well. Not much bitterness. Good and decent example of the style. 170220

Bottle. Morrison’s. Clear, medium amber. Thin, off white head is semi lacing. Nose has buttered fruit loaf. Buttery malts. Some woody notes. Some dried fruit. Taste is fairly sweet with a jarring, acrid bitterness. Light body. Fine carbonation. Jarring bitterness on the finish. Smells bad. Doesn’t taste too much better.
