Bien des choses sont hors de notre champ de vision et se cachent dans les angles morts… Notamment, la brutalité d’une bière qui peut paraître relativement douce de prime abord, mais qui est dans les faits le total opposé. C’est un peu ce qui vous attend dans le virage avec cette Triple IPA comprenant un houblonnage explosif de Superdelic, Citra, Citra Incognito et Citra Lupomax. Une nouvelle sensation de la Nouvelle-Zélande assortie d’une déclinaison de Citra sous différentes formes.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 13/09/24. Hazed orange yellow with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is bitter tropicana, dank chimes, weed, hop spice, pine resin, guava, mandarin, mango pulp. Taste comprises ripe tropical fruits, guava, grapefruit, pine resin, dank spike, raw pineapple, mango flesh, lychee. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with danko come resinous hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Solid TIPA maintaining a good bitter balance throughout.

473ml can. Murky, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with minimally late awakening, small to average, frothy to creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Dank, piney, resinous, floral, and slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty malty background, some lemon and woody pineapple; very homogeneous aroma overall. Taste is juicy, fruity hoppy, slightly floral and resinous hoppy, creamy, oaty malty basis with low residual sweetness; rather unspecific fruitiness with some citrusy aspects, some fruit acidic tartness; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Creamy to mushy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very creamy, very homogeneous, dangerously drinkable - pretty good.
