We've decided to say goodbye to the traditional 'bock season' and introduce a mini series of three beers to keep you company from the last barbecue of the year all the way to the first stormy nights by the fireplace. The third beer is this Chocolate and Peanutbutter Pastry Stout called indulgence, because after acceptance, we might as well embrace that winter is coming . This luxurious pastry stout is brewed with real chocolate and peanuts for a rich, dark and intense autumnal experience.

Can from Beerdome. Aroma is roasted malt with peanuts, caramel, vanilla, milk chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. I'm a sucker for peanut butter Stouts, this would have benefited greatly from a heftier body...

Blik gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een dikke chocolade geur. De smaak is vol, pindas, chocolade en zoete toffee.

0,33 l blikje. Interesting label as everytime at Baxbier. A lot to read. BLACK in the glass, big beige foamy head. Intensive choco with some coffee and malt on the nose, some nuts. Taste starts creamy, choco, butter cookies, and yes, peanuts, smooth malty. Low fruity alcoholic in the background. Some sweetness. Fresh bitter hop like peppermint in the aftertaste. Low to zero carbonation. Great stuff.
