330ml bottle. Opaque, chestnut colour with weak ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Toasty and slightly chocolately, dark malty and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of dark fruit, dried dark fruit, hints of raisin, plum, some dark caramel. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally alcoholic, toasty and slightly chocolately, dark malty and caramel malty, yeasty fruity, notes of dark caramel, hints of chocolate, plum, plum butter, hints of raisin, dark berries; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Slightly creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, foamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, harmonious, fairly complex - quite nice.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met matig beige schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Het aroma is een beetje koffieachtig met een hint van toffee. De smaak is koffieachtig, drop, salmiak en licht fruitig.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Diep donkerbruin bier met matig beige schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Weinig aroma, een beetje koffieachtig. Smaak is koffieachtig en licht fruitig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.
