Imperial Milk Stout brewed in collaboration with our friends at WeldWerks Brewing.
Our imperial milk stout brewed with WeldWerks Brewing is soft as mallow, smooth as chocolate, with the buttery warmth of graham crackers. (Because yes, it has all those delicious bits in it.) MOON DUST recalls the carefree bliss of lunchbox trades, hazy summer nights, and your grandma’s bountiful pantry.
TASTING NOTES: graham, chocolate, mallows, lactose

Can from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is loads of cocoa with biscuits, caramel, chocolate, hint of marshmallow. Chocolate cookie pie, creamy lactose. Sweet flavour and mild bitter. Body is above medium and a bit creamy. Chocolate! Sweet and candied but very good.

"Patches is a trash cat" 09/19/19. Pours black, with plenty of unstable, brown foam. Smells slightly roasty, nicely cookie'ish, and some milky chocolate. Very smooth and soft mouthfeel. Got some age, metallic lactose. Beyond that vanilla, coffee, cacao.

473ml can. Sweet, heavy with lactic milky notes, latte coffee, biscuity and roasty maltiness, vanilla and milk. Too milky and lactic for me.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Smooth and slightly soft palate, semi dry, good fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, a dark chocolate malteasers vibe with very mellow earthy coffee. Modest savoury tone over even more modest dark fruits. Smooth finish. A refined and layered Impy.

Pours very dark brown. Médium, light browned head. Smell is sweet, chocolate, roasty, lactose, creamy. Mild hops shine trough. Taste is full, lactose, coffee, creamy, chocolate finish ( milk chocolate rather than dark chocolate). Nice milk stout!

Can picked up at BrewDog Inverurie. It pours opaque black with a thick tan head. The aroma is sweet, stick, roasted malt, toasty, coffee, vanilla, marshamallow, chocolate, wagon wheels, toffee, caramel and light spice. The taste is sweet, sticky, chewy, toothy, creamy, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, meringue, dried fruits, chocolate cake, Mars bar cream pie, dried fruits, toffee, golden grahams, sugar puffs and perhaps slightly artificial feeling with a sticky, sugary finish. 6m - full body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth - feel. Unashamedly a sweet stout. Sweet and filthy. Not exactly my favourite kind of thing, but fun anyhow. My brother who has a sweeter tooth loved it.

Interesting milk stout, not overly sweet but also not not overly sweet, with an outsized cherry-raisin acidity in the middle I can't quite enjoy. The massive chocolate cream pie notes are nice; the vanilla and graham are subtle but apparent, but the heavy cacao backbone runs the show, almost to the detriment of the pint--a little more depth wouldn't be a bad thing. More roast, more bitterness, less lactose and I'd be sold. Still drinkable, though.
