330ml bottle. Hazy, darkest brwon colour with slightly late awakening, huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Minimally soggy, slightly zesty, citrusy fruity, hoppy and chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of orange, orange peel, mandarine, a touch of grapefruit, some chocolate, dark chocolate, sour wheat. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately malty, tart-ish and zesty, citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, orange, orange peel, mandarine, a touch of sour wheat, lemon juice, lemon kernels and lime; lingering finish with some zesty bitterness. Slightly creamy texture with a thin acidic strand, smooth and soft, minimally astringent palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation. I'm not sure if the tartness is intentional; for me it feels rather like infection and reduces the pleasure - bummer!

Flesje gedeeld door Ino. Het is een zwart bier met mooie volle beige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van koffie, rood fruit, chocolade en hop. De smaak van donker fruit, vanille en hout. Nasmaak is licht houtig en licht bitter en zacht hoppig.

Flesje gedronken met familie. Zwart bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma van koffie, chocolade, vanille en rook. Smaak van donker fruit, vanille en hout. Nasmaak is licht houtig en licht bitter maar ebt snel weg.
