Sample at the August PS tasting, 8/17/24. Black, thin brown head, average retention. Aroma of roast, oak, chocolate, raisin, smoke. Taste is toffee, raisin, lemon, caramel, roast, molasses, coffee. Mild booze.

Fles geprobeerd op de Addictee2craftBeer Bottle Share. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot met weinig tot geen schuim. Het heeft een volle zoete geur met tonen van rozijnen en vanille. De smaak is vol, zoet en vanille achtig. Met tonen van hout, caramel en vanille.

On tap at Northern Monk Refectory in Manchester. Pours jet black with a dirty tan head that fades away. Aroma is cocoa, coffee, chocolate, coconut, boozy bourbon, molasses. Taste is chocolate, cocoa, hint of coffee, lots of boozy bourbon, bit of coconut. Nice booze burn on finish but really well balanced with chocolate sweetness coming through. Excellent
