Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, dark brown with an orange hue and a beige hue. Sweet and caramelly nose with a nutty touch. Rich with an initial sweetness, but quickly dries out. Again there's some phenols that don't really belong in a Bock and a slight, finishing tartness. Far from horrible, but again - not my idea of a solid, straight Bock. 141222

0,33 l bottle from Slijterij D´r Bij, Veendam. Cloudy dark amber with a small short living one finger pale beige head in the glass. Malt and caramel with some banana and dried fruits on the nose. Taste is malty, caramel, some dried fruity, nuts, little bit alcoholic as expected. Getting more smooth and balanced with choco when it´s warmed up. No real carbonation. Nice one.

Fles gekocht in Bourtange op vakantie, geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een volle beige schuimkraag. Het heeft een zoete caramel achtige geur. De smaak is vol, caramel en rozijnen.
