Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Slater's Rye IPA ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, rye, marmalade hops, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, rye, candy - sugary, marmalade. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160812] 4-3-5-3-9

Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy weak buttery aroma. Fruity malty weak spicy hoppy buttery flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy weak buttery finish.

Fra fat på John Baird, Muswell Hill: klar gylden med fint skum. Forsiktig aroma men tydeligere ipa-smak (i pøsesegmentet) hvor rugsyrligheten bidrar og gir en fin balanse sammen med litt ananas og andre sydfrukter. Tørr og god bitterhet i ettersmaken. Håndpumpet.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, sweetish. Nice floral mid. Trace of caramel and rye tang. Modest fruits. Light semi dry finish. Hangs together well enough.

Cask at GBBF ’16, day Juan, 09/08/16. Golden blonde with a modern off White head. Nose is vanilla, bread dough, straw, pale malts. Taste comprises melon, straw, light floral strains, pale malts, bread dough. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Average at best.

Sampled @ GBBF day 1. Clear golden color, medium ized white head. Smell and taste some malts, butter, moderately bitter. Meh, don’t like it.

On tap at the horse and jockey, Waddington. hazy golden colour with a thick white head. Lemon and malty aroma and taste, with a light sweet finish.

Cask handpull at Ye Cracke Liverpool. Clear gold lasting white head. Caramel aroma more caramel in the mouth light spice from the rye. Not much hop. Ok.
