We used a combination of our old favourite hops - English Pilgrim and NZ Green Bullet & Pacific Jade. then chucked in some American Citra at the end to give it an extra kick. Rich for its strength, TBA is a proper modern old-fashioned best bitter.

Cask. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some caramel, mild floral and some wooden tones. Flavour is herbs, some earth, mild berries and some slight nutty tones.

1/3/2017 Cask (Nags Head, Reading) - Copper in colour. Raisins, caramel and dates in the aroma. Fruity and fairly bitter taste with raisins, berries, sultanas and some faint yet noticeable metallic hints.

[ As Sherfield Village TBA ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, caramel, toffee, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, toffee, bread. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber colour with a small bubbly off white head. Aroma is toffee, malt and fruity; sweet apples. Similar taste, toffee and fruit with a moderate astringent bitterness in the finish.

Cask at GBBF day 3 11/08/2016. A clear reddy copper coloured pour with a halo of white. . Aroma is nutty, stale grains, oxidised, woody, apple. Flavour is semi sweet rough stale, stale grains, rough grassy hops, oxidised. Palate is stale, thin, sugary. Terrible.
