Saxby’s Original Cider uses a blend of bittersweet and dessert apples for a perfect balance of tannins and acidity.
First there is crisp apple which is followed by sweet rosy red skin apples. There is a touch of tannins which is then taken over by the sweetness before easing back into the dry dessert apple.

Bottle @ Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Clear pale yellow with a smaal white head. Aroma is sweet apples, sugary and pear. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. 270717

Gbbf. Klare hell gelbe Farbe. Geruch nach süßen Äpfeln, minimal säuerlich. Geschmack sehr süß, kaum säuerliche Äpfel.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 3. Clear pale yellow color, no head. Aroma and flavor are quite sweet but not too much. Apple and pear, sweet ripe apple and pear with some sugar in the finish but not too much. Smooth mouthfeel. Quite pleasant.
