d12 on meidän lippulaiva d10:n uljas isoveli. Yhteys ei ole pelkästään nimessä, vaan d12:ssa on käytetty täsmälleen samoja maltaita ja humalia, mutta eri suhteessa, jotta niistä on kypsynyt klassinen West Coast IPA eli trooppisten hedelmien lisäksi humaloinnista löytyy runsaasti pihkaisuutta. Olut on kirkas, kuiva ja siinä on katkeruutta, vaikka mallaspohja on roteva.

(Keg at Oluthuone Haka, thanks fonefan, 20240828) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had earth, malts and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, malts, honey and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A bit watery malty brew. Clean.

Tap at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, some hops, malts... very boring.
