Draught@TCBW2023. More or less black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, some roasted malts, mild chocolaty and nutty tones with some slight Port sweetness to it. Flavour is quite similar to the aroma, but also has some slight vanilla tones. Alcohol is showing a bit, but not disturbing.

(Keg at Juova, 20240719) The beer poured very dark brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had wood, vinous notes, vanilla and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied, warming and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were wood, vanilla, vinous notes, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody and bitter. The barrel had taken over the beer. Clean but too much wood.

Keg @ CBH 2023. Poured brown in color, not much head. Nice aroma of port wine, malts and wood. Caramel and wood dominates. Quite pleasant overall with the port though.

Sample at TCBW 2023 Opaque colour, firm beige head. Strong fresh wood in the nose. Medium-bodied. Wood overrides port wine flavours. Apple vibes.

A small taste on tap @ TCBW 2023. Pours very dark brown with a low head. Aroma is very sweet roasted malts with port. Flavor is very sweet roasted malts, port, hops. Too sweet.
