Oud Bruin -tyylinen hapan ale. Oluen mallaspohjasta 46,5% on Birkkalan tilan mallastetu speltti. Oluesta 1/5 on kypsytetty 4 kuukauden ajan Kyrön ruisviskitynnyrissä, minkä jälkeen tynnyrissä kypsytetty osuus on sekoitettu takneisa kypsyneen oluen kanssa. Tankkikypsytyksen kokonaiskesto oli 7 kuukautta. Mahdollisesti tulossa myös puhdas tynnyrikypsytetty versio jota noin 60l erä.
Tuoksussa on makean maltainen ja marjainen. Maussa hapankirsikka nousee ensimmäisenä pintaan, jonka mustaherukkaisuus taittaa. Runko on keskitäyteläinen.

Bottled 12.4.2023, bbe 4/2026. Clear red brown beer with almost no head. Aroma and flavor is roasted malts, earthy and funky notes, sourness and quite huge red wine feeling overall. Good and somehow special.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, from the brewery, 20230826) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was small, fizzy and white. Aroma had toasted malts, berries, sourness and brown sugar. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, sweetness, tartness, sourness, berries and bitterness. Aftertaste had berries, tartness, malts and bitterness. A nice malty brew with tart and sour notes.
