Emphasizing hop aroma and flavor without bracing bitterness, this New England IPA relies on late hopping and dry hopping techniques to deliver a bursting juicy tropical hop experience. The skillful balance of technique and ingredient selection, lends an alluring haze to this popular take on the American IPA.

(Keg at Black Bird, 20220404) The beer dried straw coloured and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spiciness, ripe fruits and menthol. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were ripe fruits, orange juice, spiciness, menthol, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, spicy and bitter. A nice fruity and spicy brew with good bitter finish.

Draught @ Viisi Penniä, Helsinki. Crisp, grainy malty and slightly fruity with hints of grass and citrus. Okay, but lacks juiciness and quite grainy for a NEIPA.

draught @ the brewpub. Aroma has tropical fruits, minerals. Flavour has grapefruit, fruit candy and some passionfruit. Easy-going typical neipa, perhaps a bit on the sweet side though.
