Nelson Sauvin Single Hop Hazy IPA
"Nelson Sauvin - the pride of New Zealand! I've always had a strong relationship with Nelson Sauvin; I love drinking it and brewing with it, but I've never made a Single Hop IPA using Nelson. Now is the time! It's bursting with aromas of fresh grapes, white wine, white pepper, grapefruit, a bit of tropical notes and that beautiful New Zealand earthy funk!"

Hazy orange-yellow color, good white head with some lacing. Sweet kiwi fruit, straw and ripe mango on the nose. Medium-bodied. Rather sweet ripe tropical fruit on the palate, with kiwi, mango and grapefruit. Another solid, straightforward performance from Factory.

Canned 440ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Murky orange coloured, medium sized off-white head, tropical fruits and light grapes in the nose. Sweet malty, oaty, tangerine, light tropical fruits and touch of white grapes with moderate strong alcohol in the finish.

0,44l can from the brewery. Canned 17.06.2026, bbe 17.04.2027. Murky dark yellow beer with good and stable, cloudy white head. Aroma is hops, dank, mango and other tropical fruits. Flavor follows with mango, stone fruits, dank, floral notes and hops. Juicy, very tasty. Wonderful.

Can 44cl. @home poured into a tulip glass. Tropical fruit nose. Cloudy pale golden colour, small stable, frothy white head, good lacing. Aroma dank, pale malt, orange, stone fruit, pomelo, light pineapple, perfumy and piney hops, also retronasal. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, stone fruit, pineapple, pomelo, resinous notes, peppery notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth juicy sweetbitter aftertaste, rather thick feel, good.

Murky orange amber with a thin off white cap that dribbles away to the edge.
Nose is bitter orange, pine nip, guava, light stone fruit, grass.
Taste comprises stone fruit, gooseberries, grass, lychee, mandarin.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close spiked with grassy come lightly dankened hop bitterness.
Okay IPA but the Nelson seems a little stale and muted.

28/12/2024. Can from Beerdome online store. Pours cloudy pale yellow gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is juicy, citrus, tropical fruits, grapefruit, sweet white grape, slight herbal peppery notes. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average carbonation. A little too sweet but quite drinkable.
