Black beer, thick tan head. A dash of spice in the aroma, lots of malt too. Flavour is balanced really nicely. There is a notable kick of heat up front and throughout, and honestly I've had lots of beers with this much heat which then ruined it by not bothering to balance out with anything else. They get it right here though, with distinct notes of milk chocolate, sweet malt, caramel. Basically piling in some good sweet flavours to actually contend with a genuinely noticeable level of heat. Excellent work from the brewers.
