Orion is the barrel aged version of our full bodied Imperial Stout. It has aged for a minimum period of four months in ex-Kyrö Wood Smoke Oak Barrels. The smokiness of the barrels works perfectly well with the chocolatey and nutty flavours of the Imperial Stout.

Bottle at villi waino. Pours black, nose is smoky, shortbread, chocolate, berries, vanilla, taste is smoky, chocolate, toffee, some fruit, a bit thin. 8/8/7/7/7

Smell of rye bread, red wine. Dark brown colour, tiny light brown head. Aroma of rye bread, oak, peat, some red wine. Soft carbon. Half oily texture. Sweet, bitter.

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured black in color, thin head. Heat from the barrel, wood, licorice, roastedness and oaky notes. Pleasant and nice flavour from the barrel. Turns quite sweet as it warms up.

A colablack beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has liquorice, smoke, lighter ham and peat, hint of rubber. All are just so light. Taste has smoke, roastiness, light peat and rubber. Only medium bodied. To be honest, quite a bad beer.

Dark brown colour, small beige head. Aroma has smokey whiskey and wood. Light to medium-bodied. Peatyness, whiskey, roastyness, wood in the flavour, hints of licorice in the finish. Quite light for its ABV, base impy could be more robust maybe.

Draught @ Lakeuden Panimojuhlat Aroma has odd liquor and solvent tones. Flavour has rubbery notes, some licorice, whiskey and too well toasted malt. Finishes with alcohol. Bitter in a harsh and rubbery way, not that good.
