Frisky Fox is a modern Irish Red Ale. I have a medium body with a hint of toasted caramel, brewed using three types of malt and spirited English hop varieties to deliver an easy drinking classic beer.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is floral, some toasted notes with mild earthy and dusty notes. Flavour is floral, grassy, some mild nutty and mild toasted notes. Nutty and grassy aftertaste.

Canned, from , Systembolaget. Clear ruby, huge lively head. Fruity caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Sugar and lingonberry, caramel and dough, some milky tartness. Fairly low bitterness. Too yoghurty.

Can from Systembolaget, e-order in May 2017. (my first one from this brewery). Clear amber with a medium head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and some fruit. Similar taste. The body was medium as was the bitterness. A decent one.

33 cl can ordered to my local Systembolaget by web. Sampled on May 11, 2017. BB 15-10-17.A bit hazy brown color, builds up a large head when poured, settles to half a finger wide. Light brownish yellow colored head with some lacing. Malty, sweet, cream, toasted scent, a bit fruity. Malty, some raisins, toasted taste, though feels weak and thin, a shame after that nice aroma. Oily, grainy, dry, toasted aftertaste. Medium full though oily mouthfeel, at the same time sort of thin, can’t put my finger on it really, but feels wierd. Medium though to the harsh dry side bitterness.
