C&C 750 shared by Brigadier. Cork fell apart. Kind of a challenge to open. Clear copper thin creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of cherry, raisin, toast. Taste is tart apple, grape, plum, raisin. Medium bodied, nearly flat, some spice. Cool to try but it's far gone.

Cloudy amber with a large beige head. Aroma had toasted malt, caramel, yeast and spices. Somewhat spicy flavor with toasted malt, plenty of yeast, caramel and hints of brett. Messy.

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, dusty hops, fruits, and alcohol, leading to a dry woody finish.Odd.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of gn0sis. Pours a hazy warm amber with a frothy and lacing off-white head. The nose is spicy, somewhat tart yet with an underlying syrupy sweetness. Medium body, dried dark fruit - some overripeness too - slightly soapy. I’m not sure how much Brett I pick up though. Vague underlying tartness. Very subdued bitterness. 180311

Bottle marked 8/28/08 thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a huge, off-white head over a hazy brown body. Aroma of orange, cherry, must, fruit and caramel. Taste was fruity, grainy and dry. Light hint of funky yeast. Fizzy. Super attenuated.

CaptainCougar supplied 750ml bottle, thanks! Thick brown-orange color. Lacy head. Thick yeasty flavor. Quite a nice beer with lots of subtle Belgian-style nuances. Sweet but balanced by the Brett, which works itself into the equation superbly, not standing out and dominating like it can. Not unlike a hoppy Belgian Christmas Ale. Great beer.
